David Stone listed as questionable for Oklahoma vs.

Oklahoma’s defense is one of the best in the country, and Stone has played a big role in the unit’s success. After the game, Stone discussed the defense doing what it needed to do to earn the victory. “Me and him, man — I feel like we relate more than most people would know,” Stone said of quarterback John Mateer , via Sooner Scoop’s Parker Thune . “We talk a lot, and John’s tough, man. Now those questions matter immediately. With Stone hurt and his availability for Georgia still unknown, Venables said the group looks better three weeks in than it did at the end of camp, which is the right direction if the depth is actually catching up. There's some signs that guys are getting better, and so we've got our depth OK there."
