Oklahoma vs.

Meanwhile, the second-ranked Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a 45-17 road rout of host Arkansas in their SEC opener last Saturday. The only other meeting between Georgia and Oklahoma came in the 2017 College Football Playoffs, when Kirby Smart ‘s third-ranked Bulldogs battled back from a two-touchdown halftime deficit to edge the Baker Mayfield -led Sooners, 54-48, in double overtime to win the Rose Bowl national semifinal. Sony Michel scored the game-winning 27-yard touchdown and led the way on the ground with 181 rushing yards and three scores on 11 carries in the game. [ $19.99 gets you a FULL year of On3 | Rivals national coverage ] That history notwithstanding, Polymarket revealed the Oklahoma-Georgia game’s early point spread and over/under odds. The host Bulldogs opened the week as a 13.5-point home favorite. If the first three games are any indication, No. 2 Georgia and Oklahoma (2-1) enter Saturday’s Top 25 showdown seemingly headed in opposite directions, especially offensively. Much of that offensive success can be attributed to the electric play of senior quarterback Gunner Stockton , who currently leads the nation with a near-perfect 259.27 quarterback rating.

Ryan Silverfield: Arkansas 'absolutely' working to improve resources for football…

As part of the resolution, approved unanimously by the Arkansas board of trustees, school president Jay Silveria to lead a comprehensive review of the athletics department’s competitiveness. It also paved the way for Silveria to look at ways to improve the resources at the football program’s disposal. Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek told ABC’s Taylor McGregor he has not yet spoken with the board or Silveria about the statement. When asked about whether the Razorbacks had the resources this year, Silverfield supported they did, and he noted the plans to keep have even more available. “I like our roster,” Silverfield said . We’re going to go out there and fight and compete. Our plan is we’re going to bring our absolute best every single week. Are we going to continue to work to improve our resources here at the University of Arkansas?

Hunter Yurachek hasn't spoken with Arkansas board about resolution to review athle…

He did not have a reaction to the statement released earlier this week. Arkansas’ board unanimously passed a resolution this week that directed school president Jay Silveria to lead a comprehensive review of the athletics department’s competitiveness. It also paved the way for Silveria to look at ways to improve the resources at the football program’s disposal. The statement came in light of a report from The Athletic which ranked Arkansas’ NIL budget last among SEC football programs. McGregor said when asked this week, Yurachek confirmed he has not spoken with members of the board or Silveria about the statement. “He said, ‘I don’t have any because I have yet to talk to the Board of Trustees or the president about what this statement means.' Arkansas announced the resolution one day before Arkansas’ SEC opener against Georgia at Razorback Stadium. It marks the third game of Ryan Silverfield’s tenure in Fayetteville, which began with a 1-1 record following the loss to Utah last time out.
