READ UPDATE →NATIONAL UPDATEMeanwhile, the second-ranked Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) are coming off a 45-17 road rout of host Arkansas in their SEC opener last Saturday. The only other meeting between Georgia and Oklahoma came in the 2017 College Football Playoffs, when Kirby Smart ‘s third-ranked Bulldogs battled back from a two-touchdown halftime deficit to edge the Baker Mayfield -led Sooners, 54-48, in double overtime to win the Rose Bowl national semifinal. Sony Michel scored the game-winning 27-yard touchdown and led the way on the ground with 181 rushing yards and three scores on 11 carries in the game.
