Recruiting Roundup: Several Husky Commits Kick Off Their 2026 Season.

Today is the last Sunday without Husky football football happening for the next few months, which means recruiting is kicking into gear again. Teammates Blake Rospkopf and Zerek Sidney (from Desert Edge) both had solid outings in their first games of their senior seasons against Cactus Shadows.

Roskopf had 416 yards through the air with 3 touchdowns and 1 INT. Roskopf, who is set to enroll early and also take part in the Army All American Game, is set to have a big year for Desert Edge this season.

It's nice to see solid production from Sidney who missed time last year with an illness. George, who is set to visit Montlake next weekend for the Apple Cup, had a strong start to his junior campaign with 8 tackles and 2 TFL's.

It's still early but the Huskies appear to be one of the favorites for George who is also looking at Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, and Miami. Listed at 6'5" and around 240 pounds George projects as a future edge and should have the frame and size to play early once he gets to college.
