Washington · Kentucky · Texas A&MQB Marcus Washington Jr. commits to Kentucky Football. Kentucky secure a commitment from sophomore quarterback Marcus Washington following the team's upset of Texas A&M.
Washington does not currently have a national ranking, as he is only a sophomore in high school, but his recruitment and rankings could rise as he continues to develop. Kentucky first offered Washington in May and brought him to Lexington for an unofficial visit on Sept. 12.
It appears the Wildcats made a strong first impression, with Kentucky's 31-21 upset of Texas A&M helping further solidify Washington's interest in the program. The Wildcats also have a promising quarterback pipeline for the coming years.
Of course, Kentucky could still add another quarterback to its 2028 recruiting class, but the future of the position is already looking bright under Stein. Washington's recruitment is not necessarily over, and plenty can change during the recruiting process.
