"Day said all of Ohio State's quarterbacks have the ability to make plays with their feet, but sort of pushed back on the idea that running is the only way to be a playmaker," Murphy reported on X, formerly Twitter. "He pointed to Tom Brady and how he was different than Lamar Jackson , but both moved their teams down the field and scored points."

Sayin does most of his work from the pocket, but he is still hyper-efficient and has led one of the best offenses in college football during his time as the starter. So far this season, the junior is completing over 70% of his passes with 839 yards, six touchdowns and an interception in three games.
