“And so that brings on a whole new level of understanding, if you will, than you would have if two teams are just watching film against each other. They know that when they go tempo, they know the percentage of if it’s a positive gain on first down versus a negative gain, what happens on second down.
“They have inside knowledge of that, that no one else is gonna have because they coached together and they went against each other every day in practice and each spring. So there’s levels of understanding that people, if they were just watching film, won’t have when these two match up.”
It looked like the old version of Leavitt when he he was healthy at Arizona State . That’s the way former LSU coach Brian Kelly sees it.
