His most productive stretch came during his redshirt sophomore year in 2024, when he completed 10-of-13 passes for 112 yards and a touchdown without throwing an interception, highlighted by a career-high seven completions for 74 yards and a score against UNLV. His path to Houston began at Golden West College, where he threw for 1,335 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman in 2023, connecting on 111-of-204 attempts.
