Alabama OC Ryan Grubb releases statement after calling out fans for booing vs.
Alabama · Florida StateAlabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb turned some heads on Monday during his media opportunity. He revealed that he told his Alabama players during “Shit, we wouldn’t have won that game.”
After backlash from the fanbase Monday afternoon, Grubb has released a statement on social media. Grubb is in the midst of his second season as Alabama ‘s play-caller.
“My passion for The University of Alabama football team runs deep…my commitment to this program is rivaled only by my brothers who I lock arms with every day. “That said – I should have worded my statement today more carefully.
“I told the guys, I said, shoot, guys, if you’d have quit as fast as some of your fans,” Grubb said . “Shit, we wouldn’t have won that game.”
